Cabinet decides to implement Earth Observation System Strategy

The introduction of renewable energy sources should be scaled up, Cabinet has decided, adding that it reaffirmed decisions that were taken to mitigate global climate change.

This decision was made after ministers were briefed on new scientific information and the economics of climate change. Cabinet also agreed that the Earth Observation System Strategy should be implemented.
