The proceedings of the 3rd ELTOSA (Environmental Long-Term Observatories of
southern Africa) Conference has been published.
Compiled and edited by James Chimphamba, Chair of the Malawi Environmental Observation Network, Pascal Kishindo, Cosmo Ngongondo and Daveson Nyadani, the proceedings provide a selection of the papers presented at the meeting, which was held in Malawi.
The document will serve as a reference for future research in the SADC region, with specific reference to ELTOSA's objectives that are closely aligned with those of NEPAD.
ELTOSA strives to develop knowledge of long-term processes and episodic events and gathers its data by means of long-term monitoring programmes.
