SAEON in the Media

Dr Nicky Allsopp, Manager of SAEON’s Fynbos Node, co-edited an authoritative and informative publication on future prospects for Namaqualand and its people (above). The book contains the proceedings of the 2005 Namaqualand Colloquium and is an attempt to plough the benefits of some of the research undertaken in the area back into the region and its resources. Copies can be obtained from the SKEP Coordinating Unit, Private Bag X7, Claremont 7735, Tel +27 (21) 799 8872, or Email skep@sanbi.org.

A news release calling on volunteers to assist with the SAEON Ndlovu Node’s Savannah Region Bird Survey was distributed to national and regional media.
