SAEON in the media

The launch of three significant marine research programmes as well as South Africa’s first in-shore research vessel at the Algoa Bay Yacht Club in Port Elizabeth on March 25, received coverage in local and national media.

Interviews with Dr Phil Mjwara, Director General of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Dr Albert van Jaarsveld, President of the National Research Foundation (NRF) were broadcast on SABC Radio and SABC TV. An interview with Dr Angus Paterson, Manager of SAEON’s Elwandle Node was broadcast on Radio Algoa.
