On 6 December 2016, Sibongile Mokoena, SAEON’s former education outreach coordinator, was honoured with a Certificate of Recognition from the DST/NRF at the Global Change Conference hosted by the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) for her pioneering work in SAEON’s Education Outreach programme.
